(ANSA) - SONDRIO, MARCH 13 - Sondrio investigators hypothesize that there was a challenge between friends that caused the death of the two 15-year-olds hit by a train yesterday afternoon at the Berbenno station in Valtellina.
The two boys, according to what was reconstructed, instead of using the underpass to reach the platform, climbed over the wall that separates the state road from the tracks.
"Perhaps a challenge, in vogue today among many kids, or cross the rails just before the train arrives": is one of the hypotheses of the investigators.
The Sondrio Police, the Polfer of Lecco and the Carabinieri of Sondrio and Berbenno intervened on the spot.
