School, the 100 days of graduation are back

2023-03-13T13:12:18.727Z

So much desire to celebrate after the pandemic. More than one out of 2 graduates will celebrate them according to the survey by Skuola.net (ANSA)

2023 of high school students marks two returns: that of the State Exam in the pre-pandemic format and that of the collective ritual of the "100 days to Maturity",

which this year fall on Monday 13 March.

That is the period of time left before the start of the rehearsals, set for June 21st

.

According to

a survey carried out by Skuola.net

- on a sample of 1,000 high school students -

as many as 1 out of 2, in fact, said they wanted to honor this day in the best possible way

.

A desire for celebration and aggregation that we were no longer used to.

Suffice it to say that, only twelve months ago, with the virus no longer as scary as it was at the beginning but still more present than today, on the occasion of the "100 days" a similar survey reported very

different numbers:

at the time it was fewer than 3 out of 10 boys.

To confirm the trend there is also another consideration to introduce: those who give up celebrating will not find classmates equally willing to share the choice.

In fact, in 49% of cases the rest of the class will not do without the "100 days", when exactly one year ago they stopped at 31%.

Behind the choice to focus on business, however, there is no lack of desire or sociability.

Far from it:

the concern for a 2023 Maturity that returns to its complete set-up is already making its way into the minds of many high school graduates.

Among those who give up the "100 days", in fact, most do so mainly because they don't want to waste even a day preparing for the final tests in the best possible way: 40% of those who will do nothing to honor the event say so.

The further sign of a clear change of climate, with exams returning to have priority over logistical issues (bans, limitations, etc.).

What hasn't changed over time are the ways in which the graduates will try to fix this day in their memory.

The class party remains the most popular choice:

almost half of the boys (47%) will gather at home or in a club to eat and revel all together

or will go on a trip "out of town".

About 1 in 4, on the other hand, will limit themselves to a group outing around the school or near the house, perhaps to the sea, where one of the most traditional lucky rituals is performed, i.e. the writing of the expected vote on the shore.

While 1 out of 10 will go to the city center or to the classic meeting places of local students, with the aim of sharing the moment with other graduating "colleagues".

5% will do something in school.

Finally, a few more (8%) will visit the places in Italy where collective propitiatory rites are traditionally held in view of the exam (pilgrimages to sanctuaries, blessing of pens, etc.).

“Whoever happens to visit Pisa in Piazza dei Miracoli today, at the Sanctuary of San Gabriele in Teramo, in the youth meeting places of their own city or on the seafront of the most renowned seaside resorts, probably cannot help but notice groups of cheering or intent students to carry out strange lucky charm rites, with annexed hops, roundabouts, shouts or requests for funds from passers-by.

500,000 high school graduates

says it will in fact return to honor the anniversary of 100 days of graduation.

As in the pre-pandemic period.

And they are right to take advantage of it, because then a tough exam awaits them”, so Daniele Grassucci, director of Skuola.net.
