Appeal of the Gay Party to mayors: "Let them object conscientiously"

After the stop to transcripts of children of homosexual parents: "We ask the mayors to do civil disobedience and transcribe birth certificates". Arcigay: "Concrete manifestation of the fury of the majority against LGBTI people" (ANSA)

"In response to the circular from the Ministry of the Interior, which prohibits transcripts of birth certificates, we ask the mayor of MIolano Sala and the other mayors to do civil disobedience and transcribe birth certificates, as in the USA in the 1950s the mayors who they opposed the bans on interracial marriages. When a law is unjust and discriminatory, those who make politics must have the courage to disobey."

This was declared by Fabrizio Marrazzo Spokesperson for the Gay LGBT+ Party, Solidarity, Environmentalist.

"The stop that the Municipality of Milan is forced to communicate is one of the most concrete manifestations of the fury that the right-wing majority is unleashing against LGBTI people".

This was declared by Gabriele Piazzoni, general secretary of Arcigay.

"We are under attack and we receive daily news of provisions and regulatory proposals from this majority aimed at compressing, abolishing, canceling the recognition of rights - continues Piazzoni - Milan is just one of the cases, the paradigm seems to be that of aligning Italy with countries such as Hungary, where the denial of rights corresponds to very high rates of violence and a persecutory social climate against LGBTI people. Never as in these weeks, in which we have measured the rate of inhumanity of this government, have we felt this drift as imminent"

Sala against the stop to the recognition of children of homoparental couples - Politics

The mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala intervenes on the issue of the stop to the transcription of children of same-parent couples imposed on the Municipality. "It is a step backwards from a political and social point of view, I will continue this battle, a law is needed" (ANSA)

The positions

"The European Union would ask us to compulsorily register in Italy the so-called children of two fathers or two mothers only because they were registered abroad. We believe that this is a matter that concerns the Member States, in this case the Italy, and must be regulated by its own laws, because otherwise it happens that even Italian couples, perhaps taking advantage of the slavery of women through the rented womb, whereby children become goods that can be purchased and women instruments to be rented would be made abroad and then they are taken to Italy. We oppose this."

This was stated by

Lucio Malan

group leader of Fdi

in the Senate at Agorà Rai Tre.

"Our resolution provides for the green light to the Certificate of European filiation to protect the rights of minors but at the same time clearly inserts in the premises the fact that the gpa (pregnancy for others ed) constitutes a crime. Raffaella Paita declares

, group leader of

Azione-Italia Viva

in the Senate.

"With a circular, the government cancels the recognition of children born to gay couples. For Meloni and her prefects, these children are only second-class children. Another step backwards on the rule of law. We didn't think we had to remind the first mother president of the Council that all children are equal".

The Rainbow Families are right to denounce intolerable discrimination.

Mayor Sala invokes an ad hoc law, know that we have presented it since the last legislature and we hope that all the oppositions will join forces to recognize egalitarian marriage in Italy as well and the recognition and adoption of children at lgbt couples and single parents.

5 Star Movement Alessandra Maiorino
