The real estate swindler has been caught:

Two indictments were recently filed against a resident of Moshav Shibulim by the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office to the city's Magistrate's Court. The

first indictment is for transactions he made to sell properties that he does not own, and the second is for forging checks, changing the amounts on them and adding his name as the beneficiary. instead of the original beneficiaries.

If that's not enough - due to his evading the law, and his failure to locate him, the indictment for the fraudulent transactions has already been dismissed 4 times so far, as has the indictment for forging the checks which was canceled three times, due to the same circumstances.

How did he do it?

The first indictment, filed by attorney Talia Kalamero, reveals that the accused used to forge checks that came to him through suspected theft and deposit them in his account. In

one case he added his name as payee and his details on the back of a check and proceeded to deposit it in the bank with the aim of fraudulently receiving the specified amount of NIS 40,344. In another case , changed the amount in the check from NIS 7,900 to NIS 137,000, printed his name and ID number in the payee line and signed his name on the back of the check.

Thus, the accused forged another check and changed the amount from NIS 6,142 to NIS 78,650, as well as four other checks, suspected of being stolen, were changed by him from a total amount of NIS 49,460 to NIS 143,000 and his name was added as the beneficiary.

The second indictment, filed by attorney Lehi Meltzman, reveals that the defendant, along with another person who has already passed away, pretended to be the owner of apartments in Tel Aviv in order to sell them. During 2013, the two forged an identity card in the name of D.D. the apartment for sale on the "Yad2" website and arranged to meet there with N.D. who was interested in

purchasing it. After it was agreed to sell it for NIS 500,000, they deceived the buyer and his lawyer when they once again pretended to be the owner of the apartment and a broker on his behalf. The two acted in a similar way to the sale of another apartment in the city, in the amount of 750,000 Shekels, when 375,000 shekels of the amount were received in cash with the signing of the fake transaction.

Regarding both transactions, the two falsified requests for exemption from appreciation tax on behalf of the apartment owners and submitted them to the real estate taxation office. In doing so, they acted fraudulently, conniving and tricking, deliberately and in order to evade income tax.
