Avril Lavigne, copiously insulted an environmental activist, who came to disrupt her speech, Monday, March 13, during the Juno Awards ceremony.
The French-Canadian singer was to present rapper AP Dhillon during the equivalent of the Victoires de la Musique in Canada.
The activist went on stage, topless.
"Go away ! Break up, stupid, ”
said the artist to the activist.
Avril Lavigne had however kept her calm and continued the presentation of the rapper as if nothing had happened, before losing patience and insulting the activist for the climate.
The activist had written slogans on her bare chest and back.
“The clock is ticking”
,
“stop the deforestation of virgin forests”
, and
“save the greenbelt”.
These three sentences refer to construction projects on protected territories near Toronto in Canada.

"I'm going to do it"
All smiles, the latter, was evacuated from the scene, without the slightest resistance, by a security guard.
A little later in the evening, Avril Lavigne was presented with an award.
Just back on stage she warned "that
no one tries anything this time."

Barely resentful, the singer has given a layer on Twitter.
Addressed to her fans, the message thanks them for having voted for her and punctuates her post with a
“PS – Break it, bitch”
