The Cassation confirmed the 4-year prison sentence for the former carabiniere Pietro Costa accused of sexual assault by two American girls, an event that took place in Florence on November 7, 2017.
With the abbreviated sentence, the former carabiniere Marco Camuffo who, together with Costa, abused the two girls was sentenced to 5 and a half years.
The verdict of the Cassation confirms the sentence issued by the Court of Appeal of Florence on April 5, 2022.
