of the Chamber examined only the statements of Giovanni Donzelli in the Chamber, not the source of the news that the Fdi deputy gave: other authorities are dealing with that.

He read a substantial report which, he reiterated, was unanimously approved this morning.
In particular, it concerns the passage, pronounced on January 31 in the Deputies Chamber during the final explanations of votes on the bill to establish the Anti-Mafia commission in this legislature, in which Donzelli says that Cospito "also met the parliamentarians Serracchiani, Verini, Lai and Orlando who went to encourage him in the battle".
"During the hearing, deputy Donzelli highlighted how deputies Serracchiani, Lai and Orlando were certainly interested in the health and conditions of detention of Cospito but that in his opinion the context before and after the visit could have, even indirectly, the effect of the encouragement on Cospito. indirect on a weakening of the institution referred to in article 41 bis against Cospito therefore not detrimental to the honor of deputies Lai, Serracchiani and Orlando".

He backtracked on all the lines and said he was aware that with his words the our honor had been harmed. The jury confirmed the right-duty for parliamentarians to be prominent in prison. And it forced Donzelli to back down".

"It emerges that our reputation has been harmed and Donzelli had to take back what he had said in order not to incur censure", she concludes.
"The honorable Donzelli has not harmed any honor of the deputies Serracchiani, Orlando and Lai. The final report of the jury of honor puts an end to a useless controversy fueled by the Democratic Party. On behalf of the Fdi group I express the most complete closeness to the Chamber to my colleague Giovanni Donzelli whom none of us ever doubted, with all due respect to those who had even asked for his resignation".
