The new leader of the Dems calls for the introduction of the minimum wage in Italy too but the prime minister reiterates that she prefers other paths: "The government is not convinced that the solution is the legal minimum wage. I don't have an ideological but a pragmatic approach, the wage may not become an additional parameter of protection but a substitute parameter and in our system would risk creating worse situations than the ones we have today.
"You've only been in office for 5 months, it's true,
but you are going in the wrong direction.
On a social level, your action is defined with three words: inability, approximation and insensitivity, but your propaganda is fading", replied the Dem secretary.
