Tridan Lagache (Dany Boon) is a 50-year-old kid who has spent his entire life at Club Med in Mexico.
He decides to resign from the holiday club where he was born to lead a normal life in Paris, and find his great childhood love, Violette, 42 years after they met.
Completely disoriented, but persuaded to have his father's apartment, he does not know that it is occupied by Louis (Kad Merad), a half-brother whom he discovers the existence.
To get rid of a Tridan he sees as a burden, Louis begs one of his somewhat intrusive conquests, Roxane (Charlotte Gainsbourg), to pose as Violette.
Which Tridan thinks he recognizes at first sight.
