Von der Leyen, Green deal is the right path, streamlining costs

(ANSA) - STRASBOURG, MARCH 15 - "Our political priorities - the European Green Deal, digitization and geopolitical resilience - remain unchanged. They have proved to be the right priorities, but we want to make them less expensive to implement, especially for our small and medium-sized enterprises".

This was stated by the president of the EU Commission, Ursulavon der Leyen, speaking to the European Parliament.

    "With war looming, volatile energy prices and massive investment in clean technologies, Europe needs to step up its game," she added.
