Extending the limits of consciousness, opening the shutters of perception, transmitting knowledge and information: this is the whole purpose of the "Trippy Summer" collection from the brand MSFTSrep, by Jaden Smith, available until March 20 at the Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées, in Paris.
At 24, the son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith is convinced: “There is a psychedelic renaissance going on right now.”
It is therefore in this spirit that he designed a line of unisex clothing and accessories in the colors of the rainbow, sprinkled with cryptic messages:

MSFTSRep is made for people who don't stick to society's norms,” explains Jaden Smith.
“We used this idea to create different types of materials inspired by art, literature or films.
We thus reach different types of people and it allows them to affirm their difference.

A "trippy" collection, therefore, like the outfit that the musician, actor and designer himself wore on the day of the opening of the pop-up store in Paris: multi-pocket jeans and a raincoat in acid colors, printed with texts signed Descartes, or excerpts from books dealing with the signs hidden behind the electromagnetic spectrum of light.
Not to mention a hood adorned with a corolla of blue fabric, in reference to the talking flowers in
Alice in Wonderland
.
“We like to pass on knowledge and information through our collection”, sums up Jaden Smith.
