Buxtehude – As a successful twitch streamer, MontanaBlack likes to splurge on online games.

Marcel Eris, as the streamer is called, is currently on the road a lot in Counter Strike Global Offense (CS:GO for short) – in this game, coveted cosmetic content can have a very high real money value.

In a very short time, MontanaBlack is said to have spent more than in FIFA 22 and FIFA 23 and has not really made any significant profits from it.

MontanaBlack spends 30,000 euros in CS:GO – pack openings are not very successful

What happened?

35-year-old Marcel Eris is currently showing his pack openings in Counter Strike on Twitch.

MontanaBlack has received criticism for its CS:GO streams as many fans believe such pack openings are on par with casino gambling.

Now he has revealed how much he spent on the loot boxes in the shooter in 14 days.

What is a pack opening?

Loot boxes can be bought in many online games these days.

They are often referred to as digital surprise eggs, which usually contain cosmetic content for the respective game.

Streamers and YouTubers often spend staggering amounts of money to get desirable content and showcase the costly hobby in their videos - often allowing them to fully recoup the expense.

Such pack openings are often criticized for encouraging imitation.

This is how much MontanaBlack spent in CS:GO:

In a Twitch stream on March 14, MontanaBlack revealed that in just a few days he had spent more in CS:GO than in FIFA 23 and FIFA 22 combined - more than 30,000 euros.

Particularly annoying: the streamer didn't even pull anything worth mentioning out of the loot boxes.

I lost in 2 weeks at CS:GO what I lost in the last 2 FIFAs – just 30,000 gone.

This is how much MontanaBlack has spent in FIFA:

MontanaBlack has never really revealed the exact sum for his expenses in FIFA 22 and FIFA 23.

But the FIFA 23 streamer teams from Trymacs and Co. show that he paid at least 5,000 euros in the latest offshoot of the football simulation.

In FIFA 22, MontanaBlack drew a dream card and revealed that he spent over €10,000 there - so the estimate that he spent more in CS:GO doesn't seem too unlikely.

With the sum that has become known, many fans are surprised that MontanaBlack has not yet drawn a really valuable skin.

An AK47 skin in CS:GO was sold for 150,000 euros - one can only imagine that MontanaBlack is after such treasures.

By the way, Trymacs revealed their total Pay2Win spend and showed how much a Twitch streamer can put into online gaming.
