The Tel Aviv local committee yesterday approved a construction evacuation plan for the deposit in the Yafet farm in Kfar Shalem in Tel Aviv.

The farm covers 27 dunams and is located between the streets of Sderot Ezra Korin, Moza, and Sheshat Hayam.



As part of the project initiated by the Gabay Group, the farm will be completely evacuated and unregulated buildings will be demolished in the area of ​​the plan.

The construction plan includes the unification of two lots, the evacuation and demolition of about 80 unregulated temporary buildings on an area of ​​about 12 dunams that today block major roads in Kfar Shalem.

In their place, 24-3-story buildings will be erected (2 3-story buildings, 1 10-story building, 3 16-story buildings, and 2 24-story towers) and a total of 581 housing units will be built, 10% of which will be allocated for affordable housing ( Dubai) for a period not less than 25 years.



In addition, the Gabai Group will build a commercial facade along Sheshat Hayam Boulevard with an area of ​​approximately 1,500 square meters, approximately 500 underground parking spaces, a synagogue and public institutions with a total area of ​​1,105 square meters.

This is alongside adding green areas and opening passages for the general public.

In total, as part of the plan, about 21,000 built-up square meters will be added to the complex.

Yafet Farm is a family farm in Kfar Shalem in Tel Aviv that was established by the Yafet family - Yafet and the late Jamila Cohen immigrated to Israel from Yemen in 1949 and settled in Kfar Shalem, formerly the Arab village of Selma, all of whose residents fled after the declaration of independence. The state with new immigrants.



The late Yafta and Jamila Cohen engaged in agriculture and established a dairy cow farm there with the encouragement of the state and later all members of their family, the second and third generation, continued to live there, until the real estate companies entered.



The Gabbay Group purchased the land in 2015 from Azorim for about NIS 100 million, and since then has been working to increase the building rights in accordance with the plan outlining cell 5000. "The land and its owners have been treated for many years. To bring about a real transformation that will create an urban continuum and change the face of the area beyond recognition in the next decade," explains Eli Gabbay, one of the owners of the Gabbay Group.



The scope of the investment in the project is estimated at NIS 1.4 billion.
