(ANSA) - PERUGIA, MARCH 16 - The Court of Review of Perugia has annulled the order of pre-trial detention against Alfredo Cospito and five other suspects for, miscellaneous, instigation to commit a crime, also aggravated by the purposes of terrorism and subversion of the democratic order in relation to some articles published in the journal Vetriolo.

ANSA learned it from defensive sources.

The review filed only the operative part of the provision.

It is therefore not possible to establish for what reasons the precautionary order dating back to November 2021 was canceled. The reasoning will be filed within a period of 45 days.

However, none of the suspects had precautionary measures in place for this proceeding.

The Review had already accepted for the first time the request for annulment of the precautionary measure, deeming the serious indications of guilt missing.

The ruling was then challenged by the Prosecutor of Perugia before the Cassation which annulled it with the postponement for a new examination.

The judges thus had to once again examine the request for annulment of the precautionary measure.

Therefore pronouncing for the annulment requested by the defense while the Public Prosecutor had requested confirmation.

In an interview on Vetriolo, Cospito - it emerged from the investigation - wrote: "to strike, to strike and again to strike...

The investigating judge of the Umbrian capital had ordered pre-trial detention against him, considering him the leader of an alleged group of anarchist-insurrectionists with reference to Fai, based in the Spoleto area, a measure which was later annulled by the review court, like the measures taken against the other suspects.
