Five vehicles were involved in a serial accident shortly before 9 a.m. on State Road 2331 in Hörlkofen on Wednesday.
Hörlkofen – According to the police, a Pastettener (57), who came from Erding, stopped because he wanted to turn left onto Ziegeleistrasse.
Two following vehicles also stopped as a result.
Then two vans approached, the drivers of which recognized the situation too late.
They drove into the end of the traffic jam and made sure that all five vehicles were pushed into each other.
Miraculously, none of the occupants were injured.
The police put the property damage at over 20,000 euros.
While the accident was being recorded and the vehicles were being recovered, traffic was blocked on the through-road.
