(ANSA) - MILAN, MARCH 16 - The big American banks are close to an agreement for a plan that provides for the deposit of 30 billion dollars with First Republic Bank, the US credit institution that is suffering from a serious crisis of confidence on the part of the markets.
The Bloomberg agency reports it, emphasizing that the US government is coordinating the intervention.
Banks that have been involved include JpMorgan, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Pnc Financial Services Group.
