(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 18 - The Turkish president, Recep TayyipErdogan, has announced the extension of the agreement on Ukrainian wheat which expires at midnight tonight.
The Turkish president did not specify the period of time, but from Kiev the infrastructure minister, Oleksandr Kubrakov, announced that the agreement has been extended for 120 days.
On twitter, Kubrakov thanked Erdogan, Antonio Guterres and all 'our partners': "Thanks to our joint efforts, 25 million tons of Ukrainian wheat have been delivered to world markets".
