(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 18 - The final of the WTA 1000 tournament in Indian Wells, California will be between 23-year-old Kazakh Elena Rybakina and 24-year-old Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka.
World number 10 and winner of Wimbledon last year, Rybakina beat 21-year-old Polish Iga Swiatek, world number 1 and reigning champion of the Californian tournament, 6-2 6-2 in the semifinals.
The n.2 in the world rankings Sabalenka instead beat the 27-year-old Greek Maria Sakkari, n.7 in WTA, by 6-2 6-3.
