Rainbow families

with their children, activists, ordinary citizens, politicians and well-known personalities.

According to the organizers, 10,000 took to the streets in Milan to protest against the government which has imposed a stop on the Municipality registering the children of same-sex couples.

The mobilization, promoted by I Sentinelli, Famiglie Arcobaleno and CIG Arcigay, was also attended by the Democratic Party with the secretary

Elly Schlein

who announced a law, ready and to be scheduled in Parliament, to give more rights to these couples and their children, because "the government rails against children."

And if the issue returns to the center of the debate in the Chamber and Senate, then also the mayor of Milan Beppe Sala says he is "willing to take back the signatures" and therefore the registrations of the girls and boys of same-parent couples.

"We are already moving - explained Schlein - to carry forward the expectations that emerged from the square also in Parliament. That is, to be able to see the right of homoparental couples recognized by law".

Even if the opposition parties prove to be united, in this legislature they will however have to deal with the center-right lined up on opposite positions.

Starting with the minister of the Family Eugenia Roccella, who in these days is pointing the finger above all at surrogacy which "erases mothers".

Positions close to those of Pro Vita & Famiglia Onlus: "There are no parents of the same sex.

The law signed by the Pd was prepared and written with the Rainbow Families and the Lenford Network and is ready: "we will push for it to be scheduled soon", underlined the Pd secretary.

"We will work - you highlighted - also with the other opposition forces because this is a battle of civilization that concerns the future of Italy and Europe".

And in fact there was not only the Democratic Party in the square, with the secretary who was much applauded, also all the other oppositions with which the Dems are ready to work, such as the Italian Left, +Europe, the 5 Star Movement, because Parliament vote for a law.

"We need egalitarian marriage", underlined the deputy of the 5 Star Movement Chiara Appendino, also in the square, who as mayor of Turin had transcribed the children of gay couples.

Also in the square was Silvio Berlusconi's ex-girlfriend,

Francesca Pascale

, now civilly linked to the singer Paola Turci, who underlined how "the rights belong to everyone, they also belong to Giorgia Meloni and her daughter".

Berlusconi's former partner then called Matteo Salvini "homophobic".

"And with this hatred-she highlighted her-they annoyed".

A law to protect their rights and those of their children is what the LGBTQ+ associations in the square and the rainbow families have also clamored for, who arrived with a pink t-shirt with the words 'It is love that creates a family '.

To protest against the stop to transcripts, they raised their ballpoint pens to the sky with a flash mob that concluded the demonstration, "for the signatures of the mayors that can no longer be done".

And the mayor of Milan,

Giuseppe Sala

, who arrived in the square surprisingly after having said that he would not participate in the mobilization, has opened up the possibility of returning to sign the certificates of the children of same-parent couples, if Parliament will forgive the dialogue on these themes.

The government, according to the mayor of Milan, "is doing everything to humiliate those who don't think like them and are trying to bring the cities to the right", he concluded, assuring the square: "I am always with you, as I have been since first moment".

"I really like Elly Schlein as a person and as a woman because she is a fighter. The time has come to stop these clashes between right and left because civil rights are everyone's rights, including Giorgia Meloni and her daughter", said

Francesca Pascale

, Silvio Berlusconi's former partner who is now married to the singer

Paola Turci

, arriving in Piazza Scala.

"You should think about yourself-she stated-because you are not a guerilla between who you are homosexual and heterosexual".

"I would like to say that Paola Turci is my wife – he added -, but she is not my wife, I am civilly united with her. Yet, I do not feel different from a heterosexual couple: Why can't it be, why doesn't Salvini like it? I define Salvini homophobic, I define the sovereigns as homophobic, the parties that go arm in arm with Orban, racist and crazy. I don't want to insult anyone. They annoyed with this hatred. This is why I have faith in the figure of Giorgia Meloni. I never voted for Brothers of Italy, but I want to have faith in the woman she is".

LGBT rights, Pascale: Berlusconi close to these issues, then something changed'

Thousands of pens raised to the sky in Piazza Scala in Milan to demand rights for the sons and daughters of same-sex parents: it

is the flashmob that concluded the demonstration

Protesters raised ballpoint pens to the sky for signatures that mayors can no longer do.

"The family is what we build ourselves with our affections, our loves and our friendships - the organizers punctuated from the stage - we will not allow the government to decide who is a child of this country".
