These exceptional treasures, each duly restored beforehand, had been sent to the Museum of Fine Arts in Amiens in exchange for the "exotic hunts", a series painted mainly by François Boucher and Nicolas Lancret between 1735 and 1739, loaned for the exhibition Louis XV which ended on February 19 in Versailles.
Returning, however, they did not return to their original location, the central space of the palace.
