Without denying the reality of a downward trend in consumption and the aging of listeners, we must avoid falling into stereotypes.
Today, 70% of French people still turn on their radio every day.
And they spend three times more time there than on a music streaming service.
Live radio still accounts for 53% of all audio listening, which includes streaming but also records, CDs, etc. If you add station podcasts, the medium weighs 57% of listening volume, compared to 20% for music streaming players.
