More than
25,000 users in the City of Buenos Aires and the
Buenos Aires suburbs (AMBA) continued without electricity this Monday, despite the fact that the high temperatures that affected the concession area dropped.
According to the report of the National Electricity Regulatory Entity (ENRE) this Monday at 9:40 a.m. in the Edesur concession area
there were 21,487 users without electricity
, especially from the districts of Almirante Brown, Esteban Echeverría, Lomas de Zamora and San Vicente.
In the Buenos Aires district, the areas with the greatest number of power outages this afternoon were Recoleta, San Cristobal and downtown Buenos Aires.
As for the concession area of the Edenor company, the total number of users without electricity at 9:55 a.m. totaled 4,846, most of which are located in the Tigre, San Fernando and La Matanza municipalities of Buenos Aires.
The national government, through the ENRE, filed
a criminal complaint on Friday against the authorities
of the Edesur company to investigate them for fraud due to the disruption of the agreed rights, abandonment of a person and hindering public services.
