(ANSA) - ISTANBUL, MARCH 20 - The damage caused by the earthquake that hit southeastern Turkey on February 6, which killed at least 50,000 people, amounted to 104 billion dollars.
"The cost of the devastation caused by the earthquake is estimated to be around 104 billion dollars, it is not possible for a single nation to tackle a crisis of this size alone," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a video message at an international conference on donations for Turkey hosted by the European Union (EU).
