(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, MARCH 20 - National security minister Itamar Ben Gvir (leader of the far-right 'Jewish Power' party) today ordered an office in Beit Hanina (East Jerusalem) to immediately cease its activities on behalf of the 'Voice of Palestine', the broadcaster of the Palestinian National Authority.
This was reported by the settler radio Channel 7.
The Palestinian broadcaster broadcasts from Ramallah (West Bank) and can also be heard in Israeli territory.
It is still not clear what concrete impact the new measure could have.
"We cannot accept nor allow incitement and support for terrorism, not by the Palestinian National Authority, nor by others," Ben Gvir explained in a statement.
"The state of Israel is the sovereign here - he added - and anyone who tries to fight against it will find themselves outside".
