(ANSA) - MOSCOW, MARCH 20 - The main objective of the enemy is to shake up Russian society from within.
This was stated by President Vladimir Putin speaking at a meeting at the Interior Ministry.
Putin said that "provocations, illegal street demonstrations or any other attempt to disrupt society must be repressed".
Putin has once again harshly criticized the US, Europe and allies for "the crisis in Ukraine, which was provoked and is being vigorously fueled by the West: it is the most striking, but not the only, manifestation of the desire to maintain its international dominance and preserve the unipolar world order".
Putin, in an article written for the People's Daily (the voice of the Communist Party of China) in view of the arrival of President Xi Jinping, accused the West of aiming to curb Russia and China, "by constantly working to divide the common Eurasian space into a network of exclusive clubs".
