(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, MARCH 20 - Despite having criticized the investigation by the NY prosecutor against Donald Trump for illegal payments to the porn star Stormy Danel and promised an investigation by the House, the speaker Kevin McCarthy said he was against the protests solicited via social media by the tycoon .
"I don't think people should protest, no," he said at a press conference to launch the annual Republican retreat in Orlando.
"Nobody should be hurting each other in this…We want calm out there. I don't think there should be any violence (in response) to this," he added.
