(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 21 - Japanese Prime Minister FumioKishida arrived in Kiev by train from Poland.
According to a video broadcast on Japanese public television, the Japanese prime minister was greeted at the Kiev railway terminal by Ukrainian first deputy foreign minister Emine Japarova.
Kishida will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today, and "will convey to President Zelensky his respect for the courage and perseverance of the Ukrainian people who are defending their home under his leadership, as well as the solidarity and inexhaustible support for Ukraine from Japan and of the G7," said the Japanese foreign ministry.
