(ANSA) - MOSCOW, MARCH 21 - Ukraine is against a ceasefire because that would mean prolonging the conflict.
Presidential spokesman Mikhailo Podolyak said this, while in Moscow Chinese President Xi Jinping is discussing Beijing's peace plan with Russia's Vladimir Putin.
"Any attempt to freeze the conflict would prolong it; a ceasefire will mean only one thing, an unfinished war burning in the heart of Europe," Podolyak wrote in a tweet.
