(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 21 - China has sold Russia drone components for more than 12 million dollars since the start of the invasion of Ukraine: the New York Times reports it, citing official Russian customs data provided by a third-party company.
In all, there are about seventy Chinese suppliers in Moscow and among these there is also a company with a branch in Italy.
"It is difficult to determine whether Chinese drones contain American technologies that would violate US regulations or are legal," writes the NYT, noting that shipments "have often arrived through small intermediaries and exporters."
