Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu has nothing more to prove in terms of style.
After staying away from the red carpet for a long time - until her sensational return as a charismatic marketing director in the series
Emily in Paris
in 2020 - the 59-year-old actress now enjoys a pronounced spotlight, and with an undeniable fashion aura.
For the opening night of the Series Mania festival, which takes place from March 17 to 24 in Lille, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu opted not for an evening dress, but for another great red carpet classic: the costume.
Except that hers had nothing in common: it consisted of a midnight velvet jacket embroidered with blue bird wings, trimmed with fringes twirling according to the movements of the actress.
A piece which, as is more and more often the case on the red carpets, has not been spotted on the last catwalks.

A look in the past tense
In line with Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski or Kim Kardashian and her dress that belonged to Marilyn Monroe during her appearance at the Met Gala in 2022, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu preferred to the scoop of current clothes the character of those of the past.
It is in the archives of the Barbara Bui brand that she found the elements of her look, this March 17 in Lille.
Namely, a black pussy-bow blouse and an embroidered jacket with fringes, from the spring summer 2020 collection. All complemented by black pleated pants, currently on sale.
A revisited tuxedo, between the present and the past.
