The hedges on the banking sector were the driving force behind the Milanese listing, after the acquisition of Credit Suisse by UBS eased fears about the stability of the credit sector in the Eurozone.
Saipem (+7.6%), Unicredit (+7%), Fineco (+5.4%) and Bper (+4.9%) finished at the top of the Milanese list.
