(ANSA) - WELLINGTON, MARCH 21 - The New Zealand rugby federation announced today that it had chosen Scott Robertson as coach of the All Blacks from 2024, ending a chaotic selection process that threatened the squad's preparation for the World Cup.
Robertson, aka 'Razor' (razor), is currently the manager of New Zealand team the Crusaders.
He will replace Ian Foster, who "will lead the All Blacks to the end of the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France," New Zealand Rugby said.
Robertson was preferred to current Japan coach Jamie Joseph.
His contract will last until the end of the 2027 World Cup in Australia.
