(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 21 - "Italy is fully committed to the decarbonisation of the transport sector and the reduction of emissions from light vehicles".
This is what the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Matteo Salvini and the Ministers Gilberto Pichetto and Adolfo Urso recall in a letter sent to the Vice President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans.
The letter states that Italy would not accept "an unduly narrow interpretation by the Commission of the concept of neutral fuels", with the exclusion of biofuels.
