Stoltenberg convenes NATO-Ukraine commission meeting

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MARCH 21 - "It is my prerogative to convene the NATO-Ukraine commission and I think the time has come".

   This was stated by NATO secretary general Jens Stoltenberg, clarifying that the meeting will take place within the framework of the foreign ministerial meeting in April and that the format will have a more regular cadence in the future.

    "At the Vilnius summit I expect leaders to agree that 2% of GDP is the minimum for defense spending," Stoltenberg said.
