Ukrainian forces have attacked an oil pumping station in the Bryansk region of Russia, near the border with Ukraine, with drones.
The governor of the region announced it on his Telegram channel, adding that no victims have been reported.
"The Ukrainian armed forces, using drones, attacked the area of the Novozybkov pumping station of Transneft JSC," said the governor, Alexander Bogomaz.
The governor does not speak of damage to the plant but adds that the electricity supply has been temporarily suspended to some villages in the area until the conclusion of the investigative activities, which should be completed within a few hours.
New tension in the skies
Moscow's Defense Ministry announced that yesterday one of its fighters intercepted 2 US B-52H strategic bombers flying towards the Russian border over the Baltic Sea: the jet returned after the bombers had left.

The episode follows the March 14 downing of a US drone over the Black Sea after being intercepted by Russian fighter jets.

Rostov fire claim
A Russian anti-Kremlin group called Chyorny Most (Black Bridge) has claimed responsibility for last week's fire at a Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) headquarters in the city of Rostov near the border Ukrainian, who killed at least four people and injured five.
