These days, a comprehensive international survey was published ranking the 99 best and worst tourist attractions in the world for 2023. In first place is the
Hungarian Parliament building in Budapest
, followed immediately by
Disneyland Paris.
In third place
is the Blue Lagoon in Iceland

Plaza de España in Seville, Spain.
And there is also an Israeli representative: the "Yad Vashem" museum in Jerusalem, which we will get to shortly.
In the last place (and worst of all) is

Hollywood Walk of Fame, which is considered one of the most famous tourist sites in the world.

The structure that was viewed on Tiktok about 887 million times
The ranking was produced by analysts from the luggage company Stasher, who assigned a score to each attraction by scanning user reviews on the TripAdvisor tourism website, Google reviews, Booking.com user ratings (to check the quality of accommodations near the attraction) as well as parameters related to the distance from the nearest airport most for the attraction and the level of safety for tourists, using international safety indicators of the various countries.
The Hungarian Parliament building receives a score of 7.34 out of 10, with the researchers noting that 93.4 percent of its reviews on Tripadvisor are rated "very good" or "excellent."
Beyond that, the structure has been viewed in TikTok videos about 887 million times - an impressive number by all accounts.
Israel, as written, has one representative on the list - the "Yad Vashem" museum in Jerusalem, which was in a good place in the middle - 47th place. The Israeli Shua Museum received a score of 6.11 out of 10.

Disneyland Paris: Starring on TikTok
Disneyland Paris has a score of 7.17 and is considered the most popular attraction on TikTok, with its tagged posts viewed 7.9 billion times.
This theme park is also popular with Google raters, with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 (262,000 reviews).
Reviews on TripAdvisor are less positive, however, with 58.2 percent of visitors rating their experience as "very good" or "excellent."
The Blue Lagoon in Iceland, which stands as mentioned in third place, receives a score of 7.15, with the researchers noting that it has been viewed more than 317.5 million times on Tiktok.
They also note that the quality of the local accommodations is among the highest in the study: an average of 9.2 out of 10. On Google, it gets a rating of 4.6 out of 5 (25,000 reviews).
It is also interesting to discover that, with the exception of the Blue Lagoon, attractions related to nature did not receive high ratings.
For example, Niagara Falls is in 54th place, the Matterhorn mountain on the Swiss-Italian border in the Alps reaches 63rd place and Mount Fuji in Japan is ranked only 67th.
