Hamburg – Fans are still eagerly awaiting the first official announcement trailer for GTA 6. Until then, impatient GTA fans will keep themselves entertained with the information from the leaks.
They have revealed that GTA 6 will once again be set in Vice City, taking inspiration from Miami and various locations in Florida.
The fans found out the real locations based on the leaked pictures.

GTA 6 takes players to fictional Florida:
With GTA Vice City, Rockstar Games transported players back to fictional Miami in the 1980s.
In the next part we go back there – but probably to the present.
There will also be other locations in fictional Florida to explore outside of Vice City, including a town called Port Gellhorn, believed to be based on the city of Panama City, Florida.

This restaurant was seen more often in the GTA 6 leak.
The protagonists will probably stop by there more often – whether for meals or for robberies.
Gas station in Panama City, Florida:

Players will probably also find a gas station like this in GTA 6.
A gas station with mostly red accents also appears in the leaked images.
Fans have also discovered one in Panama City.
Car Wash in Panama City, Florida:

A similar car wash can be found in GTA 6.
With this car wash, too, it is easy to see that it served as a template for the developers.
The blue roof and the yellow lettering can be seen in almost identical form in one of the leaked screenshots.

The Econo Lodge in Panama City probably served as an inspiration for a building in GTA 6.
The Econo Lodge in Panama City looks like many typical motels in the USA.
But in a direct comparison with leaked screenshots, the inspiration for GTA 6 also becomes clear here.
Rockstar Games began researching these locations many years ago.
Meanwhile, some of the shops that serve as a template for GTA 6 are no longer there or look different.

How big is the game world of GTA 6?
A while ago, fans reconstructed the possible GTA 6 map using the information from the leaks.
The game world could be significantly larger than its predecessor GTA 5. According to some insiders, it is possible that the GTA 6 map will be larger after the game's release through DLC expansions.
