"Between 3 p.m. and 6.40 p.m. nothing worked at all," says the 65-year-old from Munich in an interview with our newspaper.
Then he only has a still image, finally the screen goes completely black.
Semenec receives his program via Vodafone/Kabel Deutschland - and is not alone with his problem.
Around 10,000 people in the Munich area alone are affected by the massive disruption, plus viewers from many Bavarian districts, including Starnberg and Weilheim-Schongau, who look into the tube.
A Vodafone spokesman confirmed this to our newspaper and apologized "for the inconvenience caused".

The reason for the disruption is: "The restriction was caused by a software error that occurred for the first time in a transmission system." Since the error only occurred for a short time, it was difficult to isolate and eliminate the error.
