It will be a few more years before this appears.

What will the PS6 look like?
Sony probably doesn't even know the official design yet, since the release of the PS6 is still far in the future.
But that doesn't stop designers from letting their imaginations run wild.

PS6 Concept 1: The Thinner PS5

This concept is very reminiscent of the design of the PS5.
The console body is thinner and also has two sideplates in bright colors on the side.
In between are LED light strips in the middle, whose lights can be set to different colors via an app.

The design of this fictitious PS6 variant is also strongly based on that of the PS5.
It looks a bit like a "tattooed" version of the console due to the many individual elements on the case.
Sideplates are also present here.
PS6 Concept 3: The DVD Player

This understated and compact design is more reminiscent of a DVD player or external hard drive than a console.
There's nothing unusual about it other than a PlayStation logo in the centre, a disc slot and a Sony lettering.
There probably wouldn't be much space left for a fan.
PS6 Concept 4: The Wheel

With this bold design, many PlayStation fans would certainly wonder whether Sony has a wheel off.
It's a bit reminiscent of the motorcycles from the movie Tron.
It could also be a new type of droid from Star Wars - but a games console?
PS6 Concept 5: The Space Station

Design number five isn't far removed from Star Wars either.
The rounded shape and the elevation in the middle of the case could also pass for a space station.
Incidentally, this concept was created by the AI program Midjourney.

Midjourney's AI is also responsible for the last concept in the series.
In this fictional version, Sony has said goodbye to the new design of the DualSense controller.
And the console itself has a more classic look due to the gray color, reminiscent of the first PlayStation.

The release period of the PS6 has not yet been officially determined, but the first indications and assessments from analysts have appeared.
