A painful and shameful moment occurred yesterday (Wednesday) in the Knesset plenum when the bill for electronic shackles fell after 54 opposed and 53 supported.

According to the Minister of National Security, a new and "balanced" law will be submitted for approval after the Knesset recess, as if the women who are in danger have time to wait.

Members of the Knesset from the opposition protested yesterday in the plenum with electronic handcuffs in their hands, and many on social media joined them in chanting "shame", criticizing the lawlessness of women's lives.

The voices of outrage were also joined by quite a few people from the local entertainment industry, who expressed their opinion on social networks.
