Donald Trump has not been arrested but (fake) photos are

already circulating on the net showing him

running away from the agents, in handcuffs and in prison, with Melania protesting.

The work of Eliot Higgins, founder of the investigative journalism platform Bellingcat (the same one that had framed Putin's spies), who used artificial intelligence to imagine the various moments of the arrest and visualize them.

"I was just kidding," Higgins explained

in an interview.

“I thought maybe only five people would retweet them.”

Instead the web went wild, and two days later her posts describing an event that never happened were viewed nearly five million times, creating a case study in the growing sophistication of AI-generated imagery and the ease with which they can create confusion in a world of volatile information.

The episode also highlights the absence of corporate standards or government regulations addressing the use of artificial intelligence to create and spread falsehoods.

Meanwhile, returning to attack the Manhattan prosecutor Alin Bragg for the investigation, and the possible indictment, on the payment of 130 thousand dollars to the porn star Stormy Daniels, the tycoon says he has done nothing wrong.

"This is not a legal system, it's the Gestapo, it's Russia and China but worse."
