(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 23 - The Rome court has sentenced the former head of the Ostia police station, Antonio Franco, to 9 years in prison.
The charges against him were corruption, disclosure of official secrecy, suppression of documents, forgery and violation of the code regarding the protection of personal data.
The judges of the eighth collective section have also ordered three other sentences, including 6 and a half years for Mauro Carfagna, who is also on trial for corruption.
The facts date back to the period between 2015 and 2016. (ANSA).
