If you tackle stains quickly with the right home remedies, you can prevent them from settling in the fabric.

Some stains are considered particularly stubborn.

However, if you get to grips with them early on, you can prevent the color from leaving unsightly marks on the light-colored item of laundry or the white tablecloth.

Here are a few simple tips and tricks that everyone can take to heart at home.

Cold water helps immediately with blood stains

The quickest and most effective way to remove blood stains is with cold water.

Either you soak the textile in the cold water.

Or you can tackle the stain with a soaked cloth - preferably with careful, dabbing movements so that the cold water can penetrate the fabric without rubbing it to pieces.

If the spots have already dried, a two percent saline solution will help, according to the Bavarian consumer service – for this you should dissolve around 20 grams of salt in a liter of cold water, according to the tip.

The table salt dissolves the protein so that it can be rinsed out better.

According to the experts, larger blood stains should first be soaked for 30 minutes and then washed with a conventional color or heavy-duty detergent and at a higher temperature, as stated in an earlier communication.

Then carefully knock out and put it in the wash.

Otherwise, gall soap also works "miracles" here, as the BR report says.
