One of the most popular RPGs over the years is Dungeons and Dragons.
Countless expansions have been released since the first pen and paper role-playing game saw the light of day in 1974.
It was created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson.
In 1983 the game was also released in Germany and was a great success.
Now "Honour among thieves" has been filmed for the cinema.

The dragon world in particular, which also comes into play in the film, fascinated us from the start.
Many dragon species can fly and are shown to be more intelligent than humans.
In the game, each type of dragon is assigned one of the five elements cold, fire, earth, water and air and there are different game worlds.
This ensures a lot of action and heroic moments in the book and film.
A charming thief and a band of ragtag adventurers set out in search of a long-lost relic, but danger lurks everywhere in the world of Dungeons & Dragons.

Dungeons & Dragons: Popular RPG on the big screen
In 1982, "Labyrinth of the Monsters" was released in cinemas and was the direct novel adaptation of the book by Rona Jaffe.
In the years that followed, an animated film and another feature film followed.
"Honour Among Thieves" had already been announced in 2021.
The movie has everything that teenage audiences will love: dragons, a heroic tale, the battle of good versus evil, and most importantly, dragons.
Among others, Hugh Grant, who plays the villain Forge in the film adaptation, will be there again.
