"I'm tired of not playing."
It is the message for Milan that Simon Kjaer has entrusted to the Danish newspaper DR.
"I trained continuously for two months and hadn't done it for eight years - added the Rossoneri defender - On a physical level I'm at the top. Sometimes things go the way you want, sometimes they don't".
Kjaer hasn't played in the league for over a month, while he played in the first leg of the Champions League against Tottenham.
And the match against the English "was perhaps my best since the injury" in December 2021, which put a brake on his run with the Rossoneri.
"I haven't played since then and obviously I'm disappointed. I still have the same hunger and energy to play, I haven't lost the desire to play when I was young. All this helps me to stay at a high level"
