Strikes: new mobilization on March 28 at the call of the inter-union

The centrals want to ride on the success of this day of March 23, to continue to put pressure on the government.

In recent days, many French people have wondered if this ninth day of action on March 23 would be the last.

The intersyndicale meeting in the evening at the headquarters of the CFDT, answered them very clearly by calling for a new mobilization on March 28.

A choice which did not necessarily have the approval of all the members until yesterday but which the very good figures of today's processions have made it possible to impose.

Several obstacles, however, cast doubt on such an announcement.

On the one hand, the executives of the CGT will be meeting next week in Clermont-Ferrand for their 53rd congress.

On the other hand, this tenth day is akin to a risky bet.

Should we take the risk of ending with a feeling of shortness of breath?

asks an activist.

Nevertheless, out of conviction or self-interest, several centrals also justified the continuation of the movement by accumulated anger.

 We are the stability pole

”, explained at the front of the procession Dominique Corona, from Unsa.

"

If we tell people to come back tomorrow, they won't come back

," defends Benoit Teste of the FSU.

A few days earlier, Laurent Berger had even gone further by estimating that the worst would be for the inter-union to withdraw and say to the government: "

 Deal with this anger

".
