(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MARCH 23 - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in addressing EU leaders meeting in the Council, said that any delay in the joint effort to beat Russia increases the risk of a prolongation of the war.
This was reported by a senior European official.
In particular Zelensky mentioned five critical points: the delay in the delivery of long-range missiles, fighter jets, a new package of sanctions (which must be expanded and not softened), the implementation of the peace formula put forward by Kiev as well as the start of negotiations for the country's entry into the EU.
