(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MARCH 24 - "Europe can never be equidistant between the United States and China since we do not share the same model as Beijing. But we have our own specific interest and Washington has its own interest too: allies must discuss to understand how can we make our interests compatible".
This was stated by the high representative of EU foreign policy Josep Borrell during an interview with ANSA and other newspapers.
"But there is a triangle, the USA, China and Europe, and the dynamics of this triangle will determine the 21st century: the point where the EU is positioned in the triangle is the main objective of our foreign policy".
