Germany's manufacturing PMI drops to 34-month low

(ANSA) - MILAN, MARCH 24 - The German PMI manufacturing index drops to 44.4 points in March, marking a 34-month low and below the estimate of 47 and a previous 46.3.

    Services, on the other hand, rose to 53.9 points above the estimate of 51.

   The composite, elaborated by S&P Global, also grew to 52.6 from an unconsensus of 51 points, driven precisely by the third sector.
