When the abuses began, in 2007, the musician had already stopped working as a catechist at the Corazón de María Institute, San Martín de Tours and the Sworn Junior College.

there were no laws enacted in 2011 and 2015 that improve the statute of limitations for victims
of crimes against sexual integrity.
